New Home for Cookfellas
The much loved Cookfellas will be moving to a new home – number 2 Westgate, aka the old Black Swan. The front will be transformed into a wine bar with the rear housing the restaurant. The old Cookfellas building will be the new home of the amazing Bombay Bistro – great news for two local businesses!
The Sitting Room Gets New Ownership
The team behind BLOC in Marton and The Artizan in Linthorpe have taken on the old Sitting Room as their next venture. With plans to turn the venue into a bar-restaurant, the interiors are being completely ripped out and revamped. It’s always exciting to see new businesses coming to the town, we look forward to seeing the new venue!
Dominos Comes to Guisborough
Popular pizza giants Dominos are opening a new branch right here in Guisborough! The branch will be situated in the Cleveland Gate retail park, alongside B&M and Marks and Spencer. It’s not yet known when Dominos will open, however a Facebook page has already emerged for the new Guisborough store.
Frade Bring Furniture Recycling to Town
Formerly home to William Hill, the Westgate shop is now home to Frade. The re-use charity collects furniture, bric-a-brac, and small appliances, and provides them to those in need at a reduced price.
